Terms
These are the terms for using BillboardMate. They are written to be read. By buying or using BillboardMate you agree to them.
What you get
An account on the BillboardMate dashboard, where you create boards (a banner plus a link), paste their snippets wherever you like, and change them later. Your plan sets how many boards you can run and how many views a month they can receive. Clicks are not limited.
Your access key
You log in with an access key. Keep it private: anyone who has it can change your boards. If you lose it or think someone else has it, email us and we will replace it.
Plans, views and going over
A view is one banner being seen once. If you go past your plan's monthly views, nothing of yours is switched off. We will let you know and talk about a plan that fits. If an account runs far past its plan for a long time and will not move to a suitable plan, we may pause it after giving notice.
Paying, cancelling and refunds
Plans are billed monthly through our checkout provider until you cancel. You can cancel any time, and it takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. When an account is cancelled its banners stop showing and its links stop forwarding. Nothing is deleted for at least 60 days, so if you come back in that time everything works again as it was.
If BillboardMate is not for you, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment.
Your content
Your banners, links and words stay yours. You give us permission to store and show them as needed to run the service. You are responsible for what you show and where you send people, and for having the right to use it. See the acceptable use rules.
Keeping it running
We work hard to keep BillboardMate running all the time, because your links are meant to last for years. We cannot promise it will never be interrupted, and we do not promise any particular result from using it. How well a banner performs depends on your offer and your audience.
If something goes wrong
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or similar laws where you live. Beyond those rights, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
Changes and the law that applies
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
