Acceptable use
BillboardMate lets you put a banner and a link in lots of places and change them later. That is powerful, so there are a few things it must never be used for. Breaking these rules means we can pause your account, which switches your banners and links off everywhere.
Never use BillboardMate to
- Trick people. No phishing, no fake login pages, no pretending to be a company or person you are not
- Send people to malware, viruses, or downloads that harm their device
- Show or link to anything illegal where you or your audience live
- Show or link to sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes violence or hatred against people
- Bait and switch: a banner that promises one thing and a link that delivers something unrelated or harmful
- Send spam. Your banners may only go in emails to people who agreed to hear from you, and your emails must follow the law that applies to you (for example the Spam Act 2003 in Australia and CAN-SPAM in the United States)
- Use someone else's brand, logo or copyrighted material without permission
- Get around your plan's limits with extra accounts, or try to break, overload or probe the service
What happens if something goes wrong
If we see or are told about a board that breaks these rules, we may pause it or pause the whole account straight away, and we will email you to say why. If it was an honest mistake and it is fixed, we switch you back on. Serious or repeated abuse means the account is closed with no refund.

If you have seen a BillboardMate banner or link doing any of the above, email support@billboardmate.com with the link and we will look at it.
